Do you really mean "…If I'm not there just lecturing their attention is completely elsewhere." Listen at 1:41. Do videos always keep their attention? Isn't the key to keeping their attention the many factors that you list starting at 2:58 including "...they want to follow their own interests and passions…" This is not the same as watching a video selected by someone else, is it?
For a first try very good. Not as conversational as I had hoped. there were a number of times when I would have thought that you would have engaged in some debate among yourselves. I have noted two areas above.
Even though there was no picture of the three of you, I could still "see" you reading your comments. Thoughtful. Interesting. I am sorry only do one podcast a semester. practice is necessary to improve your performance. That is no surprise!
